really appreciate the excellent customer service I received from Richard Ahrens, the owner of Ahrens Valley Eyewear. His optical shop has a fabulous selection of beautiful, stylish frames. I am a difficult fit (petite adult) with a difficult prescription. Richard went out of his way to help me select appropriate frames and even ordered several petite size frames in the color I desired so I could get the best possible fit. I purchased 2 new pairs of eyeglasses plus new lenses made for my own sunglasses frames. The lab's quality and workmanship was excellent. I did need to go back to my opthalmologist (different medical practice) for a prescription adjustment after the first pair was made - there was no problem at all with remaking the lenses. Richard is warm and kind, knowledgeable and patient, and he really cares about his customers. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic! The owner, Richard, as well as the other doctors have all been extremely attentive and kind with my children in this journey to help them get the right glasses and see better. Very informative in helping my children to understand how to take care of their glasses and how necessary they are. They've been able to get us in in timely fashions and they've been very patient and kind with us. What highly recommend these guys and will absolutely stick with them for anything vision related for both my children and my husband moving forward. We've worked with them on five different occasions so far and everyone has been absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much For your wonderful service and assistance. 🙏🏽

I cannot speak highly enough of this business. The front staff are all incredibly kind, and Dr. Lenning is amazing. My 5 year old is neurodivergent and I was nervous about getting her an eye exam; she's a really sweet girl but can get overwhelmed and frustrated easily and has a hard time staying still. Dr.Lenning was incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate with her. She went way above and beyond to help her feel comfortable, and was totally understanding and calm when she started getting overwhelmed. I highly recommend this business to everyone; especially to those who are parents of neurodivergent tiny humans.

My daughter is a first time eye glasses shopper. We were planning on going elsewhere suggested by her insurance company, but after chatting with them over the phone they were happy to oblige a 7 year old with a very serious, important decision. They also took the time to adjust my own glasses that have been causing me issues for months even though I didn’t get them there. They are a true representation of customer service!

I have been using the services at Ahrens Eyeworks since my second pair of glassed. I dealt with some glasses from our friends at a box store and they were never quite right until I brought them into Rick. He was able to adjust most of the oddness out of those glasses and once I was done with that pair he and his team did a great job at helping me get several other pairs over the years.
